To grow our local team in Cincinnati, we are seeking a Technical Support Consultant.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can excel in the role of technical support consultant.  Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting our national and international customers in the areas of maintenance, service and support.
  • Handling customer inquiries and solving first-level support problems as a member of the global help desk.
  • Conducting continuous improvement of support procedures and processes.
  • Participating in after hours on call for high priority issues as required (after training period).

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, be a great communicator, and have:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree (or higher) in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical), IT, or Business Process Management.
  • Experience in IT industry or IT consulting ideally in software implementation and support of ERP or MES software products.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in SQL Databases (Oracle or MS SQL).
  • Experience in MES or other shop floor systems, knowledge of ERP Systems (preferred SAP R/3).
  • Experience with Machine Controls, CNC/PLCs is a plus.
  • ITIL Framework understanding and knowledge, ITIL V3 Foundations Certification or higher is a plus.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
  • US citizenship is required due to our customer ITAR requirements.
